These terms explain the rules for accessing and using the PEAKSOFT website and legal practice management platform.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing PEAKSOFT, you agree to these terms and any applicable order form or service agreement. You must have authority to act for your organisation and use the platform lawfully.
2. The platform
PEAKSOFT provides software tools for matter management, client records, documents, time recording, billing, reporting, and related workflows. Features may change as we improve the service.
PEAKSOFT is a software provider and does not provide legal, accounting, financial, or professional advice. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and maintaining professional obligations.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials, assigning appropriate permissions, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. Do not share individual login credentials.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious code, infringe rights, or use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity.
5. Your content and data
You retain ownership of content and data you submit. You grant PEAKSOFT the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, back up, and provide the platform. You are responsible for having the permissions and notices required to handle client information.
6. Fees, availability, and liability
Fees, renewal, support, service levels, suspension, and termination may be set out in your order form or service agreement. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected service during the applicable period. Nothing excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Termination and changes
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, non-payment, or legal requirement. We may update these terms by publishing a revised version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to the PEAKSOFT team through the contact details provided on the website or in your service agreement.
